Mind Body Knox offers well-rounded services combining physical practices involving yoga and breathwork, evidence based Cognitive Behavioral Therapeutic techniques, and psychoeducation related to integrative health. Research has shown that these skills help us transition from our amygdala (fight-or-flight response) to our prefrontal cortex (problem-solving and regulating emotions), so that we are able to maintain self-control and rational thinking. The purpose of Mind Body Knox is to decrease stress reactivity, increase a state of balance, and build resilience. Our classes provide a structured time and space for individuals to come together in a small group setting that educates and empowers. Mental health is physical health and physical health is mental health.
